Nothing in this world is absolutely certain. When many people are absolutely sure of something w.r.t. investments, use your intelligence and try to look beyond the obvious.

The more certain something is, the less likely it is to be profitable.

Most investors look only to bull markets. However, if you really want to make great money, look at the bear market.

There is lot of merit in the saying `Don’t look only at Past returns, for identifying your investments’.

During the current year, many of the new investors have invested sizable amount in mid and small stocks and mutual funds based on the exceptional returns during the last 2 years and have ended up with considerable negative returns.
